Somehow i didnt imagine it would be like this.
somehow it feels like everything's happening so fast, i can hardly stop to catch my breath.
i mean, i never even imagined i would be looking at my very own showflat so soon! *yelps*
it was very last minute. he applied on the final week of application and miraculously, we got queue number 6. a God-send miracle said everyone who knew the good news.
then we went to see the showflats at HDB Hub and everybody there were lookin at us like, uhhhhh, are these two a bit of underaged for this? it felt both weird and wonderful, to just walk around the showflats and imagine, yeah, this is how my house gonna be in 3 years time. to talk about the tiles and the 3/4 length windows and how big the living room space is and gosh, everything about houses and what-have-you! i know. its like buying a dollhouse for my Barbies and Kens. except this is real.
suddenly im all grown up.
its hard to accept it. it feels downright amusing that i'm no more 16. i wonder how my parents are feeling about it. their oldest daughter,who used to be a intolerable dennis the menace when she was 4 years old, is all grown up. *sniffs* we're going for the flat selection next week. believe me, selecting a flat is serious tough business.
on another hand, i'm gonna live in yishun!!
